THE ASK
Chicago’s leaders needed to build awareness for We Will Chicago, the first citywide planning effort in more than 50 years. The Department of Planning and Development asked Blue Daring to craft an outreach strategy guided by the city’s focus on inclusivity and transparency.
THE BIG PICTURE
We developed a months-long education and awareness campaign that yielded public input and engagement from over 10,000 Chicagoans.
WHAT WE DID
It included partner and collaborator engagements, digital campaigns and in-person activities throughout the city’s many neighborhoods. With the input received, we then designed the full plan, ensuring content was inclusive and accessible. Together, these efforts yielded a dynamic 10-year framework for Chicago’s future, anchored in the most inclusive planning process in the city’s history.
