Late in 2010 the U.S. Secretary of Commerce appointed a 25-person committee to explore the functions of the National Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and the future direction of developing minority businesses. This committee was comprised of senior level corporate executives and CEOs from some of the largest minority businesses in America . This committee is actively examining several questions that will likely shape a national direction for the MBDA and its role in developing minority businesses.

We are inviting you to participate in a unique exploratory and interactive discussion addressing many of the questions posed to the national MBDA committee on minority business development, where your thoughts and opinions can be shared. A panel of subject matter experts will provide perspectives and answer questions from the audience. Our invitees will include practitioners in minority business development, academicians, local, regional, and national entrepreneurs. Additional corporate executives and governmental leaders will be present and providing commentary as well.

We are hopeful that you attend this unique forum as guest of the MBDA and 2011 MED Week Conference. Please RSVP  to attend by EOB Thursday August 11, 2011.
