5 in 10 / Reflecting on Blue Daring’s 10 Years

Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Blue Daring’s 10th birthday with 100 of our closest friends. It was a beautiful and humbling night.

It was a moment of reflection, not only on the last 10 years, but on all the people in the room that have been part of the journey.  They inspire the five things that have been at the core of our work, our drive and ultimately our growth.

Positive Energy

My mother says the following: When I meet someone that always talks about how bad things are, I nod and listen. The second time they come to find me, they won’t find me there. Energy is one of the most valuable things we have – and for good or bad – it’s contagious. That’s why it’s essential to not only exude positive energy, but further surround yourself with people who do the same.

Integrity

In business, we frequently have to establish partnerships – either to serve a client or obtain new business. However when you partner with someone you’re trusting them with your reputation. That said, it’s essential to find partners and people who have integrity – who stand by their word, aren’t afraid to give you a tough answer and live what they preach.

Vision

Our favorite clients, the people we seek to serve, are those with vision. People who think big, who want to see something be better or who want to grow are the reason Blue Daring exists and moreover the reason humanity has progressed. We are grateful for our incredible clients for always thinking big and allowing us to make manifest their ideas.

Creativity and Hard Work
Together

We often get lauded for our great ideas and creativity, however that alone would be useless if it weren’t coupled with a relentless work ethic and a focus on strategic thinking. One of the things that makes our team unique is that unlike many “creatives” we believe in customer service, hard work and doing whatever it takes for our projects and clients.

Love

Yes. I dare speak the word on professional website. Love for our work, love for our clients, love for life and love for getting the job done is what fuels us. Having love in our lives helps us prioritize work, understand others and value all we do. I am thankful for the love that my family has given me which has served as the foundation for the passion I now have for life.

As I said Thursday night, while I look forward to 10 more years, my greatest wish is that every day from here on out be filled with the energy, integrity, vision, creativity, and love that our first 10 years have had.
