Melissa is Blue Daring’s passionate, fearless leader

Inspired by the lack of communication between technical and creative thinkers, Melissa created Blue Daring to deliver the practical creatively and the creative practically. From the moment of inspiration in the summer of 2002 to today, Melissa has been dedicated completely to growing Blue Daring’s impact, client base and revenues.

Melissa has special expertise in strategic planning, communications strategy, project management, and web solutions. Over the course of 10 years, Melissa has worked with companies and organizations in the small to middle-market, online, government, non-profit, retail, construction, and professional services industries.

Melissa’s has provided strategy and communications expertise to organizations like the Cook County Clerks’ Office, Northeastern Illinois University, City Colleges of Chicago, American Family Insurance, the State of Illinois, iHispano.com, cars.com, Lion Apparel, Wal-mart, Casa Central and countless start up businesses.

A successful graduate of the Metropolitan Leadership Institute, Ms. Ballate has been featured in Today’s Chicago Woman and Tribune’s Hoy! She is passionate about education and business and gives her time to organizations that cultivate them. She serves on the boards or committees of Junior Achievement of Chicago, Robert Morris College, the Chicago Foundation for Women and the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Melissa has been a member of the prestigious Economic Club Chicago since 2005.

Melissa is passionate about business, traveling, food, racquetball, independent thinking, family and her husband, Sasha Dzeletovic.
