Melissa is Blue Daring’s passionate, fearless leader

Inspired by the lack of communication between technical and creative thinkers, Melissa created Blue Daring to deliver the practical creatively and the creative practically. From the moment of inspiration in the summer of 2002 to today, Melissa has been dedicated completely to growing Blue Daring’s impact, client base and revenues.

Melissa has special expertise in strategic planning, communications strategy, project management, and web solutions. Over the course of 10 years, Melissa has worked with companies and organizations in the small to middle-market, online, government, non-profit, retail, construction, and professional services industries.

Melissa’s has provided strategy and communications expertise to organizations like the Cook County Clerks’ Office, Northeastern Illinois University, City Colleges of Chicago, American Family Insurance, the State of Illinois, iHispano.com, cars.com, Lion Apparel, Wal-mart, Casa Central and countless start up businesses.

Melissa serves on the boards or committees of Junior Achievement of Chicago, Robert Morris College, and the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She has been a member of the prestigious Economic Club of Chicago since 2005. Melissa served as the Chairman of the State of Illinois’ Residential Mortgage Board through November 2011 and was appointed by Mayor Richard M. Daley in 2010 to serve on the Chicago Police Board, an independent civilian body that oversees certain activities of the Chicago Police Department.

Melissa is passionate about business, traveling, food, racquetball, quantum physics, independent thinking, family and her husband, Sasha Dzeletovic.
